My name is Joe Bunkers and I am Vice President of Operations here at Gage Brothers. Gage Brothers is a manufacturer of precast concrete products. What we do is make precast concrete building products and then we ship them to the site to go up. We have been working with Sidewalk Technologies for several years now with the Zoom room set-ups.
I am very aware of the fact that so much of our communication isn’t my voice. It’s my facial expressions, it’s how I perceive you…when I can see you on the screen I can actually tell if your following along with what were talking about or not and so what it’s really done is helped us with much more clear communication between our far away team members and also for dealing with an architectural firm on a specific problem. We can get them really to feel like we are in the same room and covering the same stuff, we share our screens a lot so we can show that actual detail we are talking about instead of trying to describe in words which can be convoluted.
Very happy for what the team at Sidewalk has done for us. Really helping bring our team together even though sometimes there are thousands of miles between us. I would definitely recommend a zoom set up working with Sidewalk Tech if you really want to create a community with your team and really want to pull your team back together no matter how far apart they are.
