The room’s layout was poorly served by a single projector on the far wall, and meetings were consistently delayed by a frustrating 5-10 minute setup process. This involved untangling a mess of cables for a laptop and a small speakerphone, leading to unreliable performance and audio issues.
Sidewalk Technologies designed a new Zoom Room system featuring dual 85-inch displays with a wide-angle Huddly L1 camera and a second rear camera for presentations. We overhauled the audio with advanced Yamaha ceiling microphones and Yamaha Line Array speakers, which provide uniform sound that appears to come directly from the remote participants on screen. The new automated system “just works,” allowing users to walk in and start a meeting in less than five seconds.
